Rear end Swap
Rear end Swap
Got a 3.23 in my a4 at the momment my buddys got a 96 m6 camaro that burnt a bit i could probably get the rear end from it cheap and it should be 3.42's what you guys think?
I say go for it. It's not that hard of a swap. You already have 3.23s so obviously it won't be as noticeable of a gain as going from 2.73s would be.
Do none, either, or both cars have traction control? Unless your willing to give up ABS the cost of converting one to match the other will be prohibitive if the cars aren't configured the same. Well not prohibitive, but significantly more expesive.
That should be the only compatibility issue. I have some pics of my rear end swap on my site in the sig.
