tomorrow I'm gonna get a diagnostic to determined what needs to be fixed. I noticed today when I was driving out of first gear...the car would roll side to side..as the back of the car (sounded like the shocks are worn out now with 66xxx) it would make a loud thump noise back and forth on both wheels..it's really bad. My rear-end couldn't cause that right or would it?

 

It could be a torque arm mount, shock mount, almost anything. I think the best "diagnostic" would be crawling under the car to see if anything is broken, cause if its a shock mount or torque arm mount, its pretty easy to spot. Hope this helps, prorac1

 

Check also panhard rod bushings.

 

I had the same symptoms a few months back, and a pair of take off shocks and springs from SLP and a bushing kit cleaned that up real quick.
