Rear axel seems to have a lot of inward outward play and it squeaks
My rear passenger side axel has been squeaking for a while now. I though at first that it was bearings, but it turned out that something is bent, I think....I jacked up both sides and took off the wheels, and when I just let it idle in first gear, the rotor squeaks. The squeak is coming from where it contacts the hub. So I took off the rotor and the squeak is gone. I grabbed the hub and pulled and pushed on it, and compared to the other side it has a lot of play. Now, my assumption is that my rotors are messed up or something axel wise is messed up. I just bought the car recently and its done it ever since. My first theory is that the previous owner may have nailed a curb or something and this caused the rotor to bend. Is that possible? Any suggestions would be great, I know that its kinda hard to understand from this post but please ask me questions so that I can try to fix it. Thanks again
