In my friends Tahoe (99), he didnt mark where the roller lifters came out of, and he's paranoid that if he just puts them back where ever, thats its going to mess something up. I dont think its going to be an issue but he insited that I look into it for him, so here. Being a 99 its an LT style motor so this was the best place i figured. Thanks guys.

 

It shouldn't matter, they have roller bearing tips so there is no wear related matchup to the cam lobes.
