I put in new rear shocks a week ago and noticed i am getting a rattling/clunking sound when i go over a slight bump or rough road. It sounds to me like the rear passenger shock, near the upper mounting bolt. Do i need to tighten the upper bolt more. It's pretty tough to tighten since i have a convertible and limited room to hold the shaft still and turn the bolt. Any suggestions or advice on what the noise might be.

 

check the rear lower control arm bushings. mine make noise over bumps because they are worn out.
