Rattles??

I have a 94' Z28 with t-tops. When i drive over kind of bumpy roads both my t-tops rattle and somewhere in the hatchback. Anyone else have this problem?? Is there anything you can do about these noises? Are these noises normal because the car is 9 years old?

I have the same problem. It only rattles on a certian kind of bump or road pattern. Its really weird. I have found that if you put the little plastic covers that go over the glass for the t-tops that it helps to stop some of the vibration there but i dunno with the hatch.

3 suggestions:

1. make sure that your spare is in nice and tight.

2. Under your rear hatch there are 2 rubber stoppers. Twist these out some so that when the hatch is closed it is a little more snug.

3. Get a set of sub-frame connectors. They will tighten the entire car back up a bit.
