Rattle in rear w/ cutout open

When my cutout is open, it rattles something in the rear right that gets annoying. I tracked down all the rattles except this one. Fixed all the hangers and added washers to the tunnelbrace so it isn't rattleing that. Any idea what is rattleing and how to silence it?

Get it in the air and go after it with a rubber hammer... Or if you can get it on a lift with it running. Things are a pain to track, but without more info (hard to give on a sound we can't really help much.

I would have said hangers, but you said you checked that.

I get this rattle/vibration from my right rear when my cutout is actually closed. It is right around 1600 RPMs you sounds like that certain frequency of sound rattles something just right.

Doesn't concern me too much though. Either turn up the music or open the cutout

One that took me a couple months to find was the spare tire jack handle. The socket for the jack/lugnuts would rattle on the handle. Wrapped a piece of tape around it and was good to go.

I had a rattle like that for the longest time, and since i did a new cat back, the new pipe (since you have to ghetto rig it to come even remotely close to where the original pipes were) was hitting on the black cross member under the car. Just took it off and was perfectly fine.

Yes, it is a certain frequency, I thought maybe it was the spare jack thing, will take that out. It seems like it is between 1500- and 2000 and then it goes away. It is from that are though.

Ok, thanks, it was that spare jack that you were talking about, now mostly everything is done rattleing. there is still something, a high pitched noise coming from rear that rattles at 1700 rpms and for a split second. Anyone know what that is? If you have a cutout and you still have that jack in there, get rid of it, sounds a lot better.
