Question Rattle noise while revving in neutral, and at low rpms. HELP

I got a 1995 Camaro Z28 w/ a 460LE Tranny with a shift kit (dont know what kind, might have other upgrades, bought the car like this). It used to shift nice and hard into 2nd all the time, now everytime it shifts into 2nd and im in low rpms, i hear a loud rattle noise before it shifts hard. Also while in neutral if i rev it up i just hear this nasty rattling noise mixed wit my flows. But if im accelerating at WOT or a little less, i never hear the rattle.

I read some where that in t56's its common for the pilot bearings to cause this and that its not a big deal. But since i got a 460LE, should i be worried? and what is causing it?

I would ordinarily rush to my mechanic, but i dont have much time, due to my job position.

thanks.

Also i feel a vibration coming from the tranny area, while it rattles.

UPDATE: went to my mechanic, left my car there, he called me back in an hour telling me whats wrong.. he said i got a cracked flex plate (is that the flywheel?), wasted motor mounts, and transmission mounts, and a leaking differential seal.

Well anyway i paid $947, got my car back the same day (yes, my mechanic is good like that), now the car is much better, nice and smooth acceleration, no more vibration, no more rattling coming from the tranny, really made the car better.

wonder how long its gonan last
