Angry Rattle is driving me insane. Help.

Okay, I have a really quiet Z-28 (rattle wise ). Nothing creeks, T-Tops don't whistle or leak, the car is pretty tight. Buit every time I hit about 2000 RPMs, something from the hatch rattles and it drives me out of my mind It sounds like something metal and it's not visable. Does anyone have ANY ideas on what this is and how to fix it because I'm about to lose it.

I had about the same problem with mine until last week..... i got a funny feeling about something and pulled out the jack handle. I wrapped the part that goes round the lug nuts in a napkin, folded it back up, and put it in the car. Haven't heard the noise since. Turns out that the cheap ol' POS has enough play in the end of it to rattle. Tighten the spare tire down more and do what i said above, that might fix it. That and check to see if your sail panels are tight. Funny how i've been hearing that same damn noise for 2 years and didn't think about the jack handle until last week.

Also check the latches for the back seat. They give me a noise.

Could be a loose exhaust system. Maybe one of the clamps is getting loose or something of that nature.
