Ratio To Mix For 100 Octane?

First of all is 100 octane ok for a stock motor? Secondly how much 92 octane should I mix with 110 to get the 100 octane or highest and SAFEST mix? Thanks in advance.

BTW, car is already running somewhat rich.

if the 110 is leaded, dont run it much,or you will be buying O2 sensor's. why are you looking at 100 octane especially if it is stock?

stockers dont have need for anything more then regular hi-test pump gas.

What he said! It won't accomplish anything other than to fry your O2 sensors.

If you want to boost the 92 then use the Unocal 100 unleaded.
Just do a ratio to calculate the desired octane.

mixed octane = 92[gals92/total gals] + 100[gals100/total gals]

note: gals92 + gals100 must = total gals

I use this stuff a lot. I only put in 2 or 3 gallons per tank to
end up with 93 to 94 octane. I do it because the 91 octane
oxygenated fules in CA are crap for performance.

On a stock motor, you'll be fine with premium pump gas.

As to the proper mix, the math is simple:

If you mix one gallon of 100 octane gas with one gallon of 110 octane gas, you'll get two gallons of 105 octane gas.

BTW, a better idea for higher octane is to use toluene.

Do a google search on "toluene turbo" (without the quotes) and you'll get plenty of info.

I'm no chemist, but I do know that Toluene is a pure hydrocarbon, is already used in pump gas as an octane booster, and wont hurt your OX sensors.

You can probably find it at paint stores. Be aware that it is a known carcinogen, so wear rubber gloves when mixing it and don't breathe in the fumes.
