Ramps

ok id like to get some ramps for my car, somewhere on this form someone recomended something from walmart but i only saw one type there and it was too steep for my car...

how do u guys get ur cars up and how much will it cost?

I use a small floor jack inserted from the front of the car from an angle infront of the front tire. or i jack on the pad on the rocker panel. hope this helps prorac1

with the jack up all the way i can bearly squeeze under the car and much less i dont really want to because if it falls im dead.

you should have plenty of room under the car with a jack. And, um, use some freekin jack stands, lol, geeze. prorac1

Go to either Walmart or an auto parts store and get the RYNO RAMPS. They are awesome and not steep at all. You can get a newer Vette up on them without scraping the front end. I forgot how much I paid for them but they are not expensive at all.

my jackstands dont fit under the car when its up all the way

but im gonna goto pepboys right now and see if they have these ryno things

My roomate(a Stang owner) just built a set of those ramps and they work like a charm. We marked lines in the garage where they need to be placed and we just throw them down and drive up on them. Really makes things a lot easier since I cant even get a small jack underneath my car.

just got a pair of the rhino's and those are great plenty of lift! just a little nerverecking going up on to them

i could work as much as i wanted under those... my dad made a pair of lifts like that for my truck & camper to make it level when hes parking it so the refridge works... but they were seeper than that
