So far so good!! I have about 1000 or so miles on it and no problems yet. Not a bad deal for the money

I hear most people who have them like them. The only thing is people tend to drive them harder which just cause it grabs harder now, doenst mean it always will,

I posted a similar thread before and got many bad reponses for the RAM heavy duty clutch. I figured screw it and I bought a McLeod Street Twin. It is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Yes, it is expensive, but as a wise board member told me "Have you ever seen any bad threads about the McLeod" I'll see if I can find that thread.

I think the main drawbacks are: cost and the fact that more than 1 or 2 people started breaking output shafts and such due to the hard hitting nature of the street twin.

There was a post on the f-body mailing list on clutches. What I read was we have a unique situation in that only one pressure plate works for us. CF adds the weights to it but it's still the same pressure plate. The only thing changing manf to manf is the clutch disc and disc material.

So getting a McLeod or RAM, you're theoritically getting the same pressure plate, just different disc configuration/material.
