ram air z28

i want to do a ram air on my z28 but i dont want to pay $100's for a hood. any ideas

get a moroso cold air intake or something similar then cut a hole under the car were the filter is and put a home made scoop there to pick the air up. my buddie did he an picked up 1/10 and a mph in the 1/4

I don't know the amount that you will gain from the "ram air induction scoop" but it looks like it may help a bunch....

actually my current intake is a moroso cold air and the chrome vortec elbow(that just looks cool)

i have it on my car as well, the guy i got it from picked up a mph as well...
