Ram Air? (SS)

I have a 2002 SS Hood on my 93 Z28, so I want to make use of the hood and put a ram air kit into the car, but I can't find much on doing this. In the SS Camaro's it seems like they have an Air Box of some sort.

Sorry for sounding like such a newb, I'm so beyond confused right now.

yes it does have an air box.

I have a 1996 ss and the airbox seals directly under the scoop as you can probably tell by the molding that is under the hood. This is going to be tricky for you to find the parts. the airbox wont be much of a problem but the air cleaner is. i have been looking for an air cleaner that fits my air box but no one seems to carry one that fits. not only that but my cleaner snakes down and around the front of the block, then i t hits the MAF. since you have a 93 and have no MAF im not sure what you could do. oh. if you are a noob... just in case (trying to help you out here) MAF is a mass air flow sensor. and your car didnt come standard with one. so im not sure what you could do with it. since all camaros had one after i think it was 95. and they didnt start making the ss till 96. so all ss had one. umm. but i know it can be done. so just keep looking. if nothing else just use the hood but keep it non functional.

Appears you were trying to "reply" to this thread, and not start a new thread.

I'll merge the two.

Thanks for the help.

Hopefully I'll be able to find something to make it work.
