ram air pics for Mentalcaseone

I need to get some pics of the inside, I have not been able to get a good one yet from the top, I may need to get it from underneath.
Going to test this Wednesday at KCIR, with and without and see if anything changes.

Did you ever think of how easy would it be for that thing to suck in water/dust/mud/insects/etc?

I can see using a tin metal scoop thing, but ducting like that used for a damned drier is retarded

Ever watch the NHRA drags on TV, and the guy is announcing the "track temperature" is now 135degF..... that's hot, bubbling asphalt/rubber, and the air that's right above it.......

LMAO
I know it looks ridiculus but going to see with and without times this wednesday so if it does not help then maybe I will take it off.
Its not sealed or anything, all it does is direct some more air at the filter.
The filter does get much dirtier at the spot where the hose is directed to it and I think it feels better on the top end but I could just be kidding myself.
My thought was that the K&N filter is up in the fender so the air rushes under it, so I thought if I could get some of that air into the filter it would help.
Going to KCIR this Wednesday to do some track testing so I will let you guys know with Tuna can times and without Tuna can times.

If its not sealed all that air you pick up will not help the top end one bit.... yer just dusting yer K&N filter....

Ever had to remove smashed roaches off your K&N??

Just one last thing.... flush any rodents out before the race..

dont forget to post the results...

I think youve created a Munster.... I was at home depot in the Toilets section looking for an Elbow for my Home Made Cold Air!! Oh and some of the Filters for those Shop Vacums are Huge!!! hmmmmmm

lemme see one intake to two outlet elbows from home Depot. Shop vacum filter or the biggest filter I can stuff in there most likely from Sears, Dryer exhaust hose for that IMPORT shinny look not to mention to keep heat soak at bay.... lol

Oh Yeah and It sure beats the K&N price of 220 dollars theyve quoted me yesterday ON SPECIAL....

Let me tell you they really Jack up prices here in Hawaii. Even the prices of tropical fish that they catch here locally are like three times higher than California where they have to import the fish...
I think its wrong.... but then thats another story.
