Ram Air Hoods

Yo

I REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY want a Predator hood for my future 94 Formula... but its like 1000$ and **** and thats expensive as hell.

Can I buy a dummy hood first? Have it painted... than in time add the parts mandatory to make it a working Ram Air Hood? Will this type of installation be any better or worse for any car enhancements? Horsepower and torque I mean... Will it in time even be worth it money wise?

Also... if I have an intake system thing already in my car, what will the Ram Air add?

Buy the hood you want for looks. Dont worry about making it functional unless you really feel it will do something and make it worth your $$$.

As discussed in this thread
http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...m+air+cold+air
and many others like it, I believe along with many others, that a Ram Air hood, or a CAI, will do about the same for your car a good % of the time, that is unles you drive at 100+ most of the time.

Yo

I once heard somewhere that you can't have Ram Air unless you have this performance option installed already... wasn't sure if it was an intake system though... but is that even true at all?

Or can you just add Ram Air to any kind of setup?

Chris

P.S. I think I will just go for the Cosmetic Setup... I ****ing love the Predator Hood... so beautiful

HARWOOD

For your money iv seen just about all the hoods before installing and after final install and without a doubt the Harwood hoods are probably the best to work with and fit. Dont get me wrong some other are really good, but the Harwood look and fit best.
