alright guys my hood flew back and hit my windshield wile i was driving and busted my front windshield and the hood looks like it cant be repareable its a slp ultra z hood, my question is would the walbird hood fit into my car which has a functional ram air box that was being used under the ultra z hood, oh i should explain that walbird hood a little better it sells in ebay and looks exactly like the ws6 firebird hood but for a 93-97 camaro, would that hood work under the box. thanks

 

Just my opinion, but I don't like the WS6 style hood on a Camaro, it just wasn't meant for it, IMO.

 

If you don't mind me asking, how'd this happen

 

Prolly the same way that it happened to my buddy with a Suncoast creations hood. Making a highspeed pass, and the top of the hood seperated from the bottom of the hood.

 

well my whole hood went back about when i was at 6o mph the only reason that i could think of is that the latch is no good and also the guys who put my hood on forgot to put the safety hook that goes on the hood.

 

I'd make them pay for your new hood

 

And windshield!

 

i had the guy look at my car and said he could still fix the hood so thats something good. i'm just happy i didnt crash since the hood was on the windshield and couldnt see and still was able to stop correctly at night time thats a miracle! i still dont know if i am going to pay or if he is, i'm trying to make him pay for everything since i have no insurance or the worst part i have no job at this time. any body know how much front winshields cost or is there a good place through internet to buy one, thanks guys for the reply's.
