Rained, no start...

Rained, no start...
Went out to eat. Ate, and while we ate, it poured out.
It was almost 90 here in Detroit today.
I came out and tried starting the car and it started, sputtered, then stalled.
Cranked it over to no avail. Waited about 15 minutes in the restaurant, came out thinking maybe it was flooded, and tried cranking again. No start.
So I had it towed home.
As soon as we got it off the truck, it started up.
So I checked the ICM, coil, and opti.
Coil had 6300 OHM's, icm had 12 volts, and I got 2 volts when I cranked (from pin b on icm). All ignition checked out OK.
I didn't drive in the rain at all, so no direct wetness got on the opti.
Could moisture in the air cause the opti to act like this?

For what it's worth, I had similar problems of no-start in the rain. My coil did check out okay but turned out it was the problem. I was able to isolate the coil over the opti using the light bulb trick, when it doesn't start put a 60w bulb or other heat source on/near the coil and then the opti. Did the trick every time for me, I could leave it on the opti for hours and it wouldn't start, 15 minutes near the coil and it would start every time.
