was in the middle of changing lifters and port work to intake when then rain came , now the car had two covers over it .The rain some how made its way thru both and into the lifter valley into the pan(it rained almost a week)..have changed the oil twice now,oil pressure is 50 cold and 20 to 25 hot, water temp is ok and power is still there ..my problem is noise ..lifters ..short of pulling engine , any one got an idea on way to proceed?

 

Are you saying the new lifters are noisy?

If so how long did you run it?

 

didnt know rt away about the water issue, ran long enough to get temp up ,just changed water pump...rockers are noisy..cant seem to get adjusted rt..im thinking the water oil mix is the problem,have changed oil twice so far .
The car runs fine just noisy(like rockers are out of adjustment)not sure how to get water out, hoping i could change oil a few times,but not sure.I put new lifters p-rods water pump all in while it had the intake off.
