96 motor in 95 Z

Looking to put a LT1 out of a 96 into my 95 Z28. Is this a bolt in deal? Doesn't the 95 use OBD1 and the 96 use OBDII?

Yes but if you use your current computer and KS, it won't matter.

The 96 engine has a different timing chain cover that houses the crank position sensor. This sensor isn't used with the 95 computer. Be sure to use a crank hub from a 96/97 engine as it's shorter than the 93 - 95.

Just to expand on this. If you remove the crank position sensor reluctor that goes over the lower timing gear then you would use the 95 hub. The 96-7 hub is shorter just to make room for the reluctor.
