radiator - steam pipe from heads

i have a ask about the line come from the top of the radiator and go to the back of the head,s what happend if i toc it out and seal it ,, is going to overheat the engine??????thank you

That is a steam pipe that prevents hot spots in the cylinder heads. Some run w/o, but I wouldn't recommend it for most applications. If it's leaking I would replace it.
