Radiator spraying antifreeze>>>

Well, I was trying to get the car ready for the track, and took it out on the street. The car was running pretty good, but I started smelling antifreeze. To me it looked like the lower radiator hose had antifreeze leaking out of it, so I fixed it, then I start the car up adding coolant, and the **** starts spraying out of the front of the radiator. I used to have my tranny cooler mounted there, don't know if it matters, but can I get this fixed or is it junk??? Also, can the radiator be made to cool better? I don't have the money right now for a Be Cool, but the car gets a little warm on the highway without OD. 3500 rpm at 75. Help me out fellas.

you need a new rad, and as for temp on the freeway, don't go 75mph

you car should not be getting too hot on the freeway...but as for the radiator...you have no choice to get a new one

I got a new radiator for $130 through a volume autoparts store. Looked identical to the stock one. I believe GM (discount sources like Dal) wants close to $200 for a new one.
