Probably a dumb question but...On the cap there is a lettering RC24 or something and then an S. Is the RC24 and the arrow supposed to be pointing towards the back of the car and the S and arrow point towards the front of the car when positioned on the radiator. Or does it not matter where the number and arrow point?

Without going out to look, it seems like the arrow is supposed to point at the overflow tube. Actually, it says right on the cap "align arrow with vent tube".

 

So the RC24 arrow points out towards the alternator not the front of the car then?

 

It does not matter which arrow points to the vent tube, as long as one of them does. Your owner's manual also tells how the cap goes.
