ask for a jury trial. 2 reasons:
1. They will never take it to trial over a racing ticket it is unreasonable and cost inefficient. All the courts job is to get money out of you.

2. If they do take you court only one person on the jury needs to take your side of the case for you to be aquitted(not innocent, not guilty). There is no way that one person will not believe your side of the story. Oh and don't forget you get to select some of the jurrors and aske them questions like, "have you ever been treated unreasonably by a cop for having loud/fast transportation?" ect. ect. ect.

Do not let the Judge scare you, he/she will say a jury trial is tough, you risk jail time ect. It's just a scare cause they do not want to go to that trouble over 200+$.

Notice the price of the ticket will decrease each time you go through another court....if worsed comes to worsed, and they do decided to try the case, call and make an appointment with the solicitor and plead your case. she'll call the cop and see if they remember anything and most likely dismiss your case. !!! When I went into the courthouse today (municipal court house) they told me it was already dismissed!!! It was dismissed because it is now a class B misdemeanor instead of a class C, and that requires a different ticket to write it on (or something like that). They said that since the new law was passed the tickets should be county courthouse tickets, not municipal courthouse tickets. They can re-ticket me w/in the next 2 yrs, but all I have to do that way is get a lawyer (already found one) and tell them my story. Thanks a bunch people!
