Question Racetronix users. Question

I've installed the pump what a beyotch getting that out from the bottom! I see why people cut their car up but I'll pass on that and instead just cut the filler hole bigger.

My question is did you guys use everything that came w/ the kit to install your pump? I've got this black cable w/ the label negative terminal/ground w a brass thread or the like. What in the hell is that for?! I've also got several left over items as well like these little plugs etc. I've got their instructions from them but it doesn't mention any of that stuff. Is it just me or anyone discover the same thing?

Thanks.

I also didn't use some of the hardware in the kit. Either way, it works good for almost a year now.

And here's my guide for the "through-the-hatch" install:

That black wire goes from your battery to your grounding post on the pass. side of your car... The wire is heavier gage than the stock wire............

The extra connector is for adding a pump booster so you can plug it inline with the same connector as on the harness.

Thumbs up

Well I've finally finished. Man that thing fires up instantly now. Sounds totally different than stock too when priming. New Canton fuel filter too so it's fuel throttle now. My psi didn't go up like everyone else's that's posted about installing the pump though. It stayed right at 39psi but the throttle response is improved. I'll be bumping it up tomorrow and see how it reacts.

Nice kit Racetronix wasn't that bad of a install just a pain pulling the rear off etc. Did I mention it sucks installing this w/ 30 degree temps? Definetly worth every penny. Just mad I didn't do it sooner!
