I've got there fuel pump kit which is lovely. But I've had this inline pump sitting at home for the last yr and frankly I'm selling it or putting it on this wkend. This is for my 396 w/ 36# injectors. Is it overkill, will it hurt performance or what. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

If it was me I would sell it.

I know of many stock setups with just an intake walbro supporting tons of HP, Sam's impy is one that comes to mind. And then on top of that you have the better harness which will bump things up more.

 

The inline will only be a restriction. It wont help flow.
