Racetronix fuel injector problem

So im having a little issue here. I ordered a set of Racetronix 32lb/hr injectors from Thunder. Everything looked good until i decided to put them in the fuel rails. After setting them in i noticed that my injector c-clip will not fit on the injector because of the electrical point is in the way. So i did some searching and came across this thread where it is said the "c-clips" are not needed and several people including Injuneer run theirs without the clips.
The Thread
So i think okay sounds good. I go and take all my clips off and then go to mount the fuel rail on the intake manifold. I quickly realise my injectors are too short and they wont go in the intake manifold. So now im like WTF. I go and check out the part number on the injectors and looked ar Racetonix's website and they are the correct injectors. So i came back to the board, did a search and found this thread where someone is having the same issue as me on a set of Lucas injectors which are the same thing as Racetronix. The responders say that the injector is sitting too far in the fuel rail and needs to be pulled out and the c-clips need to be attached to secure the injector in place from moving too far up or down. So i go back and pull my injectors out a little from the fuel rail and try to put the c-clips on. They still do not fit because the electical plug. Even if i could get the c-clips around the injector im not convinced that it will work.
The Thread
I know i cant be the only guy running the Racetronix 32lb/hr injectors. What do i need to do to get these things installed properly?

I have the 37# Racetronix injectors. They went in with clips the exact same way as the stockers.

Post some pics of what you have next to the stockers.

I have been running the 37# injectors for years. They were easy to put in and I have never had any problems.

I have the 37# Racetronix injectors, and they did not go in with clips the same as the stockers.

Are your injectors actually shorter than the stock ones, or is it just their position that's the problem?

IIRC, there are two sets of grooves in the injector body. One set will NOT work. The other set of grooves did for me.

Just to clarify the refernce by the OP, I do NOT have Racetronix injectors. I have 64 # Bosch low impedance injectors. I do not use the clips with them.

I was trying to put the clip on the wrong groove. They fit now but they dont go in the intake or the fuel rail too deep.
