Quietest Catback?

Right now I'm running the stock catback with a gutted cat (retired the flowmaster in the sig). The noisy deceleration stuff is annoying and I'm looking for a little more tone. I plan on installing some longtubes in a few months, a bullet or spiral flow muffler in place of the cat with an electric cutout behind that, and a quiet muffler out back so I can have it quiet or loud at the touch of a button So what is the quietest performance muffler out there? It can be a single in/out muffler because I'm going sleeper on the street and don't plan on running dual tips. Thanks.

I use the MAC Catback with the resonators cut off the back. It is very quiet at idle, and not even terribly obnoxious at wide open, but from the tone you sure enough know that this car has got some cajones. The setup is about the cheapest I've seen. It is not SS. Still I don't know if I would buy another setup, when it come time to replace; I've simply never heard anything I like better.

I just went to the MAC website (had been there before) and checked out the catback...they want a pretty penny for the catback and I'm not even using the tips (resonators). Do you know if the muffler on this setup is their muffler called a 'flowpath'? If so, I looked around and saw a few different mufflers alone under the mustang section. They even had a 3" inlet 2 - 2.5" outlet muffler in there. I believe those are the flowpaths though. Do you know if it's the same muffler on the catback you were talking about? Also do you have any sound clips? I'd love to hear it....I've heard dual flowpaths on a mustang, and I've gotta say it sounds pretty sweet.

The MACS are flowpath mufflers. Supposedly they have great flow characteristics, but then everyone makes that claim. I don't have any sound clips, sorry. I do agree they sound quite nice on the Mustang.
