Quietest Cat-Back Exhaust

My current exhaust is Borla cat-back. Its top notch exhaust, but too loud. After my new setup its louder than before and I can't drive on the street. (Cops are the first reason).
Any way I want quietest cat-back exhaust. My current setup is 383cid 210cc AFR heads (expect 500 crank hp) so I don't want to lose lots of HP after cat-back changed.
BTW: I searched, but found just a few topics about this subject. I added POLL. I didn't add GMMG Cat-Back, because its same loud as Borla.

I am guessing you have hearders?? If ya wanted something quiet, but still have a good tone to it. I look at dynomax.. My buddy had it on his formula.. Sounds really good..

But about the borla.. I'd be interested in buying it.. Whatcha wanting for it?

Re: Quietest Cat-Back Exhaust

When I put my flowmaster single out rear catback on, I couldn't tell a difference in the sound level over the original at idle or cruising speed. You can make it louder and throatier without a cat though. I think it sounds really nice without cats and is still at a reasonable sound level. The only time it may get annoying is on the freeway with the tops off at the rpm where resonance occurs, but you learn to like it

See, I'm different. I want the loudest possible cat-back, when I get it. I have my sights currently set on the SLP Loudmouth.....

Re: Quietest Cat-Back Exhaust

I just got tired of mine being obnoxously loud. Stock WS6 exhaust on it, twin E cutouts. Both problems solved.

Hmmm... Okay...

So you mind enlightening me on how you supposedly mustered a 13.3 at 103 with an otherwise stock car that only has intake and catback on it?

Re: Quietest Cat-Back Exhaust

I have Kooks LTs Headers and Y-Pipe (with cats).. As I said above I don't want lose performance too much, so stock exhaust will not be my choice. It also should flow well.

Re: Quietest Cat-Back Exhaust

Not only is the B&B quiet but it has a nice tone at idle which wont set off alarms but still lets you know that the car means business while at WOT you can hear one hell of a sweet scream! My friend runs it on his TA and I seriously considered one for my Z.

Yup, you got me. I'm a damn ricer. How did I end up on this board?

Here's a thought, douchebag. Before you go assuming things, how about you at least get to know me a little? Good God man......
