Quiet down pacesetter LT/magnaflow

I think my pacesetter LT's and magnaflow are a little too loud. It's not so much the volume as it is the rasp and popping sounds. Would the addition of a 4" dynomax bullet most likely take care of this?

A bullet in the I pipe will help and also there's these stainless Pilot resonator slash tips that Autozone sells for 24.99 each. They fit right inside the magnaflow tips with some very minor modding.
Either one or both will make things more liveable.

That's my first question as well. I have the Magnaflow, and don't think it's too raspy at all.

No cats. I just thought the big magnaflow muffler wouldn't sound like this.

No cats = raspy no matter what muffler you have. My 2 cents, of course.

I'd put money on it being the Y-pipe since he has longtubes. My ypipe creates TONS of rasp. I need a different y-collector.

word, no matter how much ppl say certain systems have no rasp, it's almost inevitable if you ditch the cats.

Yes once the cats are gone the noise & rasp come into play. I had a 12" "bullet" muffler welded in under the rear seat. You need to "adjust" the floor pan with a hammer for clearance. This will solve the problems, nice at cruz & noise when your on it. Look in the Summit catalog these things sell for around $30.
