it depends if you have a cat, ported heads, or cam. if you have a cat and dont have heads and cam then it is quiet at idle

it depends on your definition of quiet. the exhaust i have (in sig with cat) is very quiet at idle. At wide open throttle its not loud and its not quiet. does that make sence. id go with the hooker cat back if i were you it will sound good. ditch the cat

cool. I guess I'll order it tonight then. The headers and cat aren't on the car yet, but they are ordered. I got both for $355 shipped on ebay w/ 3000 miles on them. I might sell the cat for $75 or something.

Longtubes, cat, hooker exhaust. VERY quiet at idle, decent loud at acceleration. Going to yank the cat first chance I get to make it louder.

With stock manifolds, cat, and stock engine the Hooker catback sounds very close to stock at idle. I had it for a short time, too quiet for me.

I have a blowmaster throw on muffler on my car in place of the stock muffler and I want something else. Would the hooker catback be louder and sound better then what I have now?
