What are some common/easy things for nice effective weight reduction to make your car a little faster?

 

There are heavy bumper impact beams in the front and rear of the car. I don't recommend removing them for daily driving but you can. Also all that foam crap inside the bumper covers can go away. Door impact beams can be cut out. Spair tire and jack (ofcourse). umm you can also take the factory carpet up and take all the foam from the front to the back of the car. I think the foam around the top of the gas tank is pretty thick. You can spray dynomat sound dampening material in place of the foam and also replace the carpet with a lightweight set. I'll add more if I think of any. Get rid of the driver/passenger air bags and loos the rear seats. Replace the front seats with light weight race seats.

 

Thats really about it for quick/easy stuff.

I personally keep mine but thats jsut because im an AC freak. It could be 70 and I have it on.
