quick T/A question...

Will an ls1/lt1 touqre arm work on an 82 z/28 ?

my friend bent his on the 82 and I have a spare stocker from an 02..

Will it work?

You will have to bring the mount (on the tranny) for the torque arm over with it, but look first at the way the lips are facing of the T/A.If they face the same way its basicly a bolt in, if they face the other way, bring the T/A mount from the newer car with it.

I dont have the mount that came with it ...

So what would happen there?

He'd have to get an 02 mount ? poly or whatever ?

Yeah they are pretty cheap from summit and the like. I think they are only say 15 bucks. I tried to order the whole sheebang one time from O Reillies (just to get the metal parts) and they looked at me like I had a 3rd eye. I went to the GM dealership and they had it there in a few days, but it was like 35$. (of course this was a while ago too)
