I've got the CC pro mags 1.6 rockers, my question is the indented space where the stud goes through should be pointed up towards the nut, or down towards the heads. It makes most sense to me to go up towards the nut, just want to make sure. Also I thought I read somewhere that lash is almost perfect when you tighten the nut on by hand and it stops, this seems to make sense sense the pushrod starts to grab and you can feel a slight traction, does this sound right? I should be set on everything else as far as adjusting, just want some confermation on these questions if someone knows

 

yes flat spot up. For proper preload, be sure you are on the base circle of the lobe (remember EO-IC). Tighten the nut while you spin the pushrod with your fingers. When you feel the pushrod start to drag. Turn the nut 1/2 turn tighter and lock it down. Do each rocker that way on the base circle until you've done them all. Don't forget to soak all the rockers in oil for at least 30 minutes before installing them.
