quick question need answer...
ok well I was an idiot tonight. i was reprogramming my pcm, bumped my cable and fried my pcm.
So lets say they sells these at my local auto parts store for 120 buck. I need my car to go to work in the morning and can't afford the downtime of shipping my car's pcm to Ion.
How unethical would it be to buy a pcm from autozone or something, then send my old pcm to get fixed, then after I get it back, return the autozone pcm saying it's not working, and demand my money back so I can get a working one from somewhere else?

Re: quick question need answer...
i work at a napa store and some computers need to be flashed for your specific vehicle and usually you can tell if they have been installed, but usually if the person is not an *** i will take care of it anyway because all they have to do is send it back to the manufacturer defective.
