Quick question about my cam

Hey folks looking into finally swapping the correct cam pin(longer pin) into my LE3 cam. I noticed it has a fuel pump lobe on the front of the cam next to the front of the cam? Is this correct coming from comp? The reason I ask is it somewhat preventing me from knocking out the cam pin from the back side. Are my assumptions correct on it being a fuel pump lobe?

Thanks in advance.

Any lobe directly behind the front journal will be the fuel pump lobe.

Ok so this answers my question. So we don't need this lobe, why is it included on the cam? Is this in case you swap to an older chevy?
