could a false knock be caused by the egr hose being off of the header? would this cause it to pull timing A LOT and run like shiit? going to bolt it up when it stops raining just wanted to see if this could be my problem of if i should look for something else. no check engine light either

you have alot of unmetered air entering and leaving prior to the o2 sensors which can lead to a rich fuel condition, also the loud exhaust leak can lead to a false knock condition
