Exclamation Quick Q about injectors

ok so ive been trying to figure out why my car is running really rich my topic here https://www.camaroz28.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=626790. Was told to check for leaky injectors regualtor ect. well I pulled the fuel rail and none leaked, but one of the injectors had something hanging out of it like a circular thing, and it was only on one of them it was cyl. 1. So is this one bad or is it supposed to be like this? I was gonna go buy new ones but thought i check here first I can get a picture of up if you need to see it. Thanks

When you say that none leaked how were you testing for this condition?

That is the o-ring that needs be on the tip of the injector to seal the inside of the intake from the outside. Pull your rails and put it back on.

No problem post up if that cures your problem. They get so stuck to the intake that when you yank the rail up many times they don't come with the injector...

Check the fuel pressure and the fuel pressure regulator as well. A leaking regulator will cause a rich issue.

Are you recording/scanning the car with a program like datamaster? If so what BLM's are you seeing on the right and left sides? Also, check your O2's and their mV outputs as they should be high and fluctuating a ton. Lastly, if your BLM's are split or different from side to side, flipflop the injectors on each side and see if the problems reverse from right to left. I had a rich condition on the left side and did this to pin it down to a leaky/sticking injector. Just sent them off to witchhunterperformance.com to have them cleaned and rebuilt. I should be putting them back on next weekend and I'll let you know how it goes. Let us know what you find?

heres the thread I made that has two logs in it: https://www.camaroz28.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=626790

Regulator seems good fuel pressure was about 38 with the vac line connected and 42 with it off.
