Quick o2 question...

Instead of buying an o2 extension, can I just lengthen it myself? All I need is about 4" and then my header install would be complete. It would be really easy, but I think I heard that lengthening them yourself doesn't work. Can somebody help? Thanks.

Buy the extensions. Those wires carry current which is measured down into milivolts. If your not an electrician to figure out the proper gauge/length requirements, its not worth it IMO.

I just ordered some jet-hot LT's and I was wondering if I need 02 Extensions. I have a 97 Trans am that is converted to a OBD1 PCM, I have no use for my 02 sensors, since I have a OBd1 PCM so I imagine that I don't need 02 Extensions.
ANy help would be great, thanks

You NEED o2s. Simple as that. You also need extensions if you are doing longtubes.
