Re: Quick motor mount ?

i used the crank nose as a jacking point with a block of wood. right between the balancer and timing cover.

Re: Quick motor mount ?

I've used a wide peice of wood on a jack under the sump in the pan. Caused no adverse effects to the pan or any leaks.

Re: Quick motor mount ?

Ive also jacked on the balancer before. I did sit the engine down on the pan in a tores one time(out of the car) and when I turned the assy over the crank rubber(stroker), I hit it a few licks with a rubber mallet and it fixed it.

So the balancer in the front with the belt on it is a safe place to jack it up at then? Idk the car has 108k and dont want to mess up any main bearings or nothing. Dont have the $ to fix somthing of that sort.

Re: Quick motor mount ?

I recommend using the tranny as your jacking point.
