Quick Morel Lifter Question

For you guys using morel lifters, are you running the tie-bar style or an OEM drop in style and keeping the retainers and spider plate??

Bars here. Luckely I found out before torquing my heads down that you have to have the heads off to put them in. When they are linked together you cant angle them into the bore. Just FYI

Re: Quick Morel Lifter Question

For that price you'd also think that they'd have some type of release on the tie-bar to allow installation/removal with the heads on the car.

I have them with the bars also, and I installed them with my heads already tq'd down. They with slide in with a lot of patience, oil, and trying different angles.

Hmm, I tried, and couldnt get them in. VRE also told me the heads had to be up. I didnt want to force anything, and gouge the roller tip or lifter bore.
