QUICK!!! Help needed(starter removal)

OK I got the two bolts out, but the Y pipe is in the way, so it won't come out. Y ou guys have said it can be done without messing with the Y pipe. How?

I've puled that starter out a couple times now. It does come out with the Y-Pipe in place, but you gotta spend some time on your back tryin to move it around. If I remember correctly, you need to try and turn it up and out of the small gap between the block and the Y-Pipe ( I hope that makes sense ). Yes, it is a major pain in the patute, but it is possible. Good Luck Bro!!

It'll come out w/ the Y-pipe still in I believe vertically. It's been a while.

You will have to un bolt the bracket that the tranny lines are bolted to on the oil pan, and that will allow some movement, also the dust cover needs to come out. The Y pipe can stay in.
