Re: Quick Head Install Question

I would use sealant. Tape might dislodge and cause clogging in the cooling system.

Re: Quick Head Install Question

Keep us updated on your progress. I've had VERY similar problems as you, in fact, during my head/cam swap my intake wouldn't fit--I had to elongate the holes on the intake to get it bolted on . Needless to say I've been following your posts closely.....

I've also heard that using teflon tape is a no no, I used ARP thread sealant...

Re: Quick Head Install Question

I got the heads on, amazingly, without a hitch. I just had to run to the store for some thread sealer, but hey, it gave me an excuse to take the purple car out.

I hate to tell you this 95RagtopTA, but I am not too optimistic about my problem being fixed. I'm really not hoping for much considering the hell I've been through with this thing already. If this doesn't fix it I'm not going to have an earthly clue as to what the problem is.
