Quick A/F Question

My dyno sheet reads 12.5 fromstart until4400rpm them it starts to drip down to 11.2 at 5700 rpm. First, is this normal? Does this means its a little rich, I can never remember. And is it optimal to have an A/F graph that stays exactly steady? What is the prime number, 12.5?? Thanks-Rob

11.2 is too rich. You're looking for around 12.8 to 13.0 at peak HP.

Is it running rich because there is something wrong? I did gut my cat , could this have some effect on the fuel system. I also added new O2's when i did headers last spring. How much Hp could I gain if I had a better A/f ration. It dynoed 277.5HP/319.9TQ
Thanks

Is this still on stock programming?
If you're that fat you could get some more hp if the car were leaner...but from the looks of it you're pretty much stock. So I would say the gains wouldn't be as big as you're hoping. Maybe 10hp?

Yup. Does the car running rich mean there could be a problem somewhere? Or is this pretty normal? If there is a problem some where, what could it be? Thanks!

Stock programming is usually on the fat side from the factory anyway. Often the problem gets worse when the mods begin. Nothing some tuning can't fix.
