Quick EBCM question

I need to know if the EBCM, brake computer module is the same in V6 models and V8's without traction control. Same year cars, both are 96.
Thanks
Bill

I dont' know the exact answer for you but I've been looking for a 96 non TCS EBCM too and I've found that anything from earlier cars is wrong and there are several different PN#s. Its best to find another 96 v8 non-TCS unit to make absolutely sure it will work.

Well I'm just going to be swapping it out of another guy's car to put in mine just to test to see if my computer is bad. It's not going to stay there. I was just curious as if it would work, before i spend all that time pulling his out and putting it back in.

I don't see anything in the parts book that says they are different between the V6 and LT1. 96-97s are listed with one part number. No traction control.
