Quick cam lube question!

CompCams did me a good favor and did not send me any cam lube for the install. However, I do have some cam assembly lube here from a different company that sent dad's big-block cam. MUST I use Comp Cams' stuff?

Don't use the moly type lube on a hydraulic roller cam.
Just use oil or the GM EOS (engine oil supplement). The
moly lube is for non-roller cams.

Do a search for some more info as this has been
discussed before.

I used regular old assembly lube from Autozone for my cam. No biggie.

For my receint cam swap, I just oiled up the part of the cam that rides the bearings.

There's a reason why they didn't send you any.
