Quick Borla install question (dual cat car)

O.k. my buddy is heading over right now to my house so I can put his new Borla cat-back on for his '97 Z28. My question is does the new Borla Intermediate pipe just slip into the stock y-pipe??? On my single cat setup I have a ball and socket type flange that connects it together and I noticed that this dual cat set-up doesn't have it. Is this right or do I have to sawzall the old y-pipe or something to get the new pipe to slip in? Thanks!

Re: Quick Borla install question (dual cat car)

It slips right on. The hardest part is aligning all the pipes, but other than that, its really simple to install it although I did my Borla on a lift.
