Quick 12 bolt rear question....

Quick question about 12 bolts for the late model f-bodys. Hope i'm in the right forum. Just figured this is where the big HP guys hang out. I'm thinking of swapping out my 10 bolt for a 12. Just got some nitrous on it an am expecting somewhere around 425hp/475tq at the rear or maybe more. Was wondering what is a good "affordable" 12 bolt unit out there. Complete and ready to bolt in. Kinda breezed over the SLP and Moser units. Just looking for info. Thanks in advance.

Your choices for a 12 bolt are...
Strange
Moser
DTE (i believe)
KTRE (through Mark Williams)

Then of course the various 9" makers.

I would call Jay Billingsley up though and talk to him on the strange rearend. He has always done me right. http://billingsleyracing.biz

From my expereineces Strange is the most plug and play setup out there mosers require tweaking and oil filling etc.. KTRE screwed some people over (NOT MARK WILLIAMS) but needless to say i would never buy there product again.

Strange and Moser are the most common and popular. I agree on the KTRE thing to.

But this actually should be posted in LT1 Tech, i will move this there for you.

Thanks bud.
