Questions regarding LT4 ED timing chain setup

I've searched but didn't find an answer to my question. I have an 03 LT1 that I'm doing a twin turbo build. I have eliminated the opti spark. My turbo cam has a pin length of app. .820". Is that long enough for the LT4 ED chain/gears, or does it not matter since the opti is gone? Can I use the stock timing cover or must it be swapped for the later style (again no opti)? Seems like I'm good to go as-is but just wanted to verify before ordering the parts.

Thanks for your time.

What kind of water pump are you going to run Std? or electric? If you deleted the opti and want to run a electric pump i believe then you can use any small block chain out there. If not you probably just want to go with a cloyes double roller considering the power out put your wanting to do.

I'm going to run the standard LT1 pump. So I still need the pump drive. From what I'd seen you can't run the Cloyes without going to an electric pump.

Thanks.
