questions, getting winter car

I am very excited at the moment, as I am going to be getting a winter car this week. I can finally stop driving my car in the wonderful snowy weather now. I have some questions though, I am not going to be able to store my car, so I was hoping to find out what you guys do with regards to keeping my car outside and not driving it. I am thinking I get a car cover, but I was wanting to know what kind/type I should get. I have heard about some covers scratching cars. Also with regards, I know I should change out my oil, but should I disconnect/take my battery out. Or leave it connected and start my car up each week? Thanks

if you wont drive it, yeah, either pull your battery or disconnect it. youd be better off leaving the car sit there rather than just starting it once a week (unless you drive it around once or twice a week). sorry, cant help you with the car cover question though oh yeah, put some gas stabilizer in your tank and fill it up if you just leave it there as well

I would definitly get a car cover for you car. When i bought my car the previous owner gave me his car cover that he used when he had it outside. This cover is specifically designed for Camaro's and is an all-weather cover. I'm sorry but I don't know where he got it, but just make sure it's for outside use too.

car cover etc

buy the best "most expensive" car cover you can, consider a trickle charger, fill gas tank with premium and a fuel stabilizer (seafoam) and crank and drive when you can.
